Facet International is the world leader in jet fuel handling, industrial coalescer separators, bilge water separator and other separation technology. Advanced filtration and separation products and systems for aviation, marine, petrochemical, water treatment, power generating and general industrial markets.

During World War II, the U.S. Department of the Navy requested that the Warner Lewis Company design the first aviation fuel water coalescer; that was the genesis of Facet's involvement with the military. Since then, we have proudly supplied all of the branches of the armed forces with a broad range fuel handling and other products.

In the ensuing 60+ years, Facet has continued its technological relationship with the military, compiling an impressive list of firsts including: 

• Design of the first COPS unit (portable fueling system) for running R-2 fuel for Atlas Missiles (1961)

• Qualifying the first 2000 GPM filter/separator for US Navy aircraft carriers (1970)

• Qualifying the first API-1581, Second Edition unit at 3500 GPM, Class A (1981)

• Qualifying the first API-1581, Second Edition unit at 2500 GPM,  Class B (1984)

• Qualifying the first 50 GPM oil/water separators used on aircraft carriers and support ships (1992)

• Qualifying the first coalescers and separators to API 4^th Edition, M100 Class for use in JP-8 +100 fuel (1999)

Today, Facet supplies the US military with fuel, lube oil and oil/water separation/filtration equipment for use around the world on land, sea, and in the air.
