API concrete vault with Facet MPaks®

Facet’s retrofit kits are custom designed to fit existing concrete vaults, or “API pits” as they are commonly called.   Retrofitting these vaults with our proprietary MPak coalescing plates creates an efficient oil/water separator with oil discharges typically less than 10 PPM.  The performance is guaranteed by Facet’s patented sizing program, the “MPak Quality Prediction Program” that predicts the quality of water by analyzing the influent design conditions.

Facet also offers design assistance for cast-in-place concrete oil/water separators.  Facet’s application engineers will provide the internal design dimensions and locations for the oil dam, weirs, etc., based on information supplied by the customer.   Once the design is determined, Facet will provide a drawing detailing internal dimensions, along with a complete breakdown of MPaks and mounting hardware to be supplied.  A typical installation drawing detailing the proper installation of the retrofit kit will also be supplied.
